Role Overview
We are seeking a driven Entry-Level Sales Recruiter Trainee to join our team in Ottawa, Canada. The role involves managing the entire recruitment process: engaging hiring managers to define hiring needs; sourcing and screening qualified candidates using diverse recruiting platforms; conducting interviews and reference checks to assess alignment with roles based on candidates' skills and aspirations; effectively communicating job opportunities; and preparing candidates for job starts. Building and nurturing long-term relationships with consultants through coaching, regular follow-ups, and career guidance is crucial.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements.
- Utilize different recruiting tools to identify and attract qualified professionals.
- Conduct thorough screening interviews and reference validations aligned with consultant goals and skills.
- Guide consultants through job offers and onboarding preparations.
- Build strong relationships by coaching candidates for interviews, ensuring their smooth transition into roles, and maintaining ongoing communication to monitor satisfaction and engagement.
- Maintain an active network of consultants matching key industry skill sets.
- Establish trust with professionals to serve as a career advancement partner.
Training and Development
- Participate in a comprehensive, structured training program with role plays, job shadowing, and knowledge-sharing exercises to gain industry expertise.
- Engage in formal and informal mentorship programs for continuous professional growth.
- Work within a supportive culture that fosters personal development and collaboration.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience in customer service, leadership, or sales is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
- Unlimited commission earning potential.
- Initial 13-week paid training period at $42,500 annually.
- Post-training base salary starting at $47,500, increasing to $57,500 after one year plus uncapped commissions.
- Top 10% recruiters earn on average $70,000 in year one, $132,000 in year two, and $198,000 by year five.
