About the Role
Join Panda Express as an Assistant Manager, where you'll support the management of a single restaurant store. Your primary focus will include hiring, managing, and leading team members to meet financial objectives while ensuring excellent guest experiences. New hires receive over three weeks of store leadership training to help you succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day store operations management
- Recruit, train, and supervise store associates
- Drive achievement of financial targets
- Enhance guest service quality and satisfaction
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma
- Be willing to relocate within 50 miles of your home if needed
- Available for flexible working hours, including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
- Food safety certification (Serve Safe) is mandatory

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This position involves working in a fast-paced and often hot environment with exposure to steam and food vapors. Associates are generally expected to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Efficient communication, adaptability to dynamic priorities, and conflict management skills are essential. Workspaces include confined areas with limited storage and high shelving.
