About the Role
Elan Education seeks a social media coordinator to oversee law tutoring content focused on the Otago region. Key duties include promoting tutoring events and fostering authentic connections with University of Otago students through engaging, relatable content reflecting student life.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and publish posts advertising upcoming law tutoring sessions, workshops, and events.
- Create community-driven content that genuinely represents University of Otago student experiences, aiming to build trust and rapport.
- Produce short video content (reels/TikTok format), alongside static images and carousels.
- Manage interactions by replying timely and appropriately to comments, direct messages, and other community engagements in alignment with brand voice.
Candidate Profile
- While law studies are advantageous, they are not mandatory; candidates with solid social media skills who can quickly grasp subject content are encouraged.
- Familiarity with student culture at University of Otago; preference given to current students.
- Experience creating short-form videos involving filming and basic editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar editing software.
- Strong writing ability for captions and interactive community communication.
- Keen understanding of producing content that feels sincere and not overtly promotional.
