About Miraval The Red Sea
At Miraval The Red Sea, we are looking for a devoted Pilates Instructor to guide our guests through engaging and mindful movement experiences. Rooted in holistic well-being, this role emphasizes building strength, flexibility, posture awareness, and inner harmony by offering both group and personalized Pilates sessions aligned with our integrative wellness philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead invigorating Pilates classes including Mat and Reformer styles for various group sizes and private sessions tailored to all experience levels.
- Customize lessons focusing on core stability, breath, posture, mindful movement, and injury prevention.
- Foster guests’ mind-body connection encouraging sustainable wellness habits in a safe and welcoming environment reflecting Miraval's values.
- Collaborate with the wellness team to create innovative Pilates programs, specialty sessions targeting relaxation, spinal mobility, core awareness, and posture enhancement.
- Support wellness retreats and signature Pilates-centric experiences while updating offerings based on the latest Pilates and functional movement trends.
- Ensure safety and hygiene by routinely inspecting Pilates equipment, promptly reporting any issues, and complying with health and safety protocols per local regulations and Miraval standards.
- Guide guests attentively to maintain proper alignment and movement form to avoid injuries and maintain relevant safety certifications such as CPR and First Aid.
- Maintain and reset studio spaces before and after classes and assist in fitness assessments and tailored guest programs with cultural sensitivity.
- Engage guests in promoting paid private and group sessions, wellness, spa programs, and related retail items to help meet departmental revenue goals through genuine connection and deep product knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with yoga, fitness, and wellness teams, mentoring junior instructors and engaging in professional development to continuously enhance guest experiences.
- Provide input for wellness marketing materials, represent Pilates at wellness events, and gather guest feedback to evolve offerings.
Qualifications
- Certified Pilates Instructor with proficient training in both Mat and Reformer techniques (PMA certification or equivalent preferred).
- At least two years of experience teaching Pilates in luxury resorts, boutique studios, or wellness retreats.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and postural alignment with capability to adapt sessions for diverse ages and abilities.
- Additional qualifications in disciplines such as Yoga, Barre, Functional Training, or Somatics are advantageous.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
