About Stembotrix Technologies
Stembotrix Technologies is seeking a talented Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their team in Hubli, Karnataka. This full-time role involves designing and developing firmware for embedded and AIoT-based products tailored for product development and R&D.
Job Responsibilities
- Create, develop, test, and debug firmware targeting microcontroller-based systems.
- Write firmware primarily in Embedded C and C++ for platforms including ESP32, STM32, Arduino, AVR, PIC, and ARM architectures.
- Interface with hardware components such as sensors, motors, displays, relays, and various communication modules.
- Implement communication protocols including UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, RS-232, RS-485, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
- Develop IoT and AIoT embedded applications with wireless technologies like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, and MQTT.
- Utilize RTOS including FreeRTOS to manage multitasking on embedded devices.
- Conduct board bring-up procedures along with thorough firmware testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Interpret electronic schematics, datasheets, pin diagrams, and technical manuals effectively.
- Use tools such as serial monitors, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers for debugging both hardware and firmware.
- Optimize firmware to enhance memory efficiency, processing speed, reliability, and power consumption.
- Work on hardware-software integration, resolving interface issues between firmware and peripherals.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, firmware version control, and testing logs.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including hardware, mechanical, AI/IoT, and product development.
- Support prototype creation, testing, validation, and deployment for new products.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electronics, ECE, EEE, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in embedded firmware development.
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C and C++ programming.
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers like ESP32, STM32, Arduino, and ARM-based controllers.
- Familiarity with GPIO, ADC, PWM, Timers, Interrupts, and Watchdog Timers.
- Competence with UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, and RS-485 communication standards.
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, and MQTT protocols for IoT communication.
- Understanding of FreeRTOS or RTOS fundamentals for real-time embedded systems.
- Experience with sensor, actuator, and motor driver interfacing and control.
- Proficiency in firmware debugging, troubleshooting, and version management using Git.
- Basic electronics and PCB schematic analysis capability.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in AIoT, robotics, automation, or IoT product creation.
- Familiarity with development environments such as ESP-IDF, STM32CubeIDE, PlatformIO, or Arduino IDE.
- Working knowledge of cloud-connected embedded systems and OTA firmware updates.
- Basic Python programming skills.
- Exposure to embedded Linux is advantageous.
- Prior involvement in product prototyping and hardware testing is a plus.

Additional Information
