Job Overview

In the role of Sales Associate based in Barrie, Ontario, you will leverage your expertise to assist Pet Parents in selecting the best nutrition and care products for their pets. This position offers the opportunity to work with a passionate team of pet enthusiasts and grow professionally within a leading pet retail company.

Responsibilities

• Operate cashier and manage customer sales transactions.
• Prepare merchandise orders, complete banking, and handle other administrative paperwork.
• Stock small items (under 10 lbs) such as pet supplies and household goods in the sales area.
• Maintain store cleanliness through sweeping, dusting, and general upkeep.
• Assist with unloading deliveries of pet food and supplies (up to 50 lbs) and organize stock.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in retail or customer service roles.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Outgoing demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
• Capability to repeatedly lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work according to schedule needs, including weekends and evenings.
• Reliable transportation to commute to and from the store.
