About the Opportunity

This unique role as Curriculum Manager is based in Singapore at a globally focused organization dedicated to enhancing governance through impactful training programs. You will join a compact, collaborative team that emphasizes transparency, collective effort, and a politics-free culture. The organization fosters partnerships and projects internationally, offering a supportive environment with flexible working and continuous learning support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop original curriculum resources including case studies, slides, simulation exercises, facilitation guides, and digital learning modules by determining learning outcomes, organizing content structure, and managing iterative reviews.
  • Lead comprehensive project management for curriculum and content creation, coordinating across various partners and stakeholders to meet deadlines and maintain alignment with project objectives.
  • Supervise the production of e-learning materials ensuring they adhere to adult education principles and pedagogical frameworks, utilizing Learning Management Systems, authoring platforms such as Elucidat, and SCORM compliance for engaging digital content.
  • Manage relationships with external consultants, experts, and suppliers, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and pedagogical consistency.
  • Edit and validate educational materials prepared by third parties to maintain uniformity in style, format, and instructional quality.
  • Maintain and update a content repository for easy access by trainers and participants, covering case studies and digital assets.
  • Identify and assess training needs and curriculum shortcomings based on stakeholder feedback, advising on content updates or new developments.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and reports for senior management and partners, synthesizing complex information clearly and concisely.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of four years' experience in curriculum creation or instructional design within public sector, higher education, or professional training environments.
  • Demonstrated capability in both producing curriculum independently and managing outsourced contributions from external vendors or subject matter experts.
  • Proficient in coordinating multi-party initiatives with varied timelines while ensuring quality deliverables.
  • Skilled in designing online learning content using authoring tools like Elucidat, managing Learning Management Systems, and applying SCORM standards.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, to develop high-quality educational materials and communicate effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to comprehend diverse topics, integrate concepts, and express them clearly in written form.
  • Highly motivated, open to constructive feedback, self-driven to meet deadlines, and passionate about the mission behind the organization.
  • Resourceful and adaptable, capable of extending beyond defined responsibilities to solve challenges and seize opportunities.
  • Competent at juggling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Organizational Culture

The organization is distinguished by its dedication to advancing governance worldwide through practical training, administered by former public service leaders from multiple continents. Employees experience supportive leadership focused on talent development rather than strict hierarchy, promoting a meaningful and cooperative workplace aimed at driving positive social change.

Additional Information

This is an on-site, full-time position based in Singapore. Applications will be handled with confidentiality, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. The organization is committed to equal opportunity employment and values candidates who align with its mission-driven values.
