Position Summary
The Houseman role involves maintaining cleanliness and order throughout hotel public spaces, assisting with guest room upkeep, and supporting overall hospitality operations. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all public hotel areas including restrooms, hallways, and stairwells to ensure high-quality standards.
- Strip linens and remove trash from guest rooms when required.
- Clean bathrooms, dust furniture and decor, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors diligently.
- Handle soiled linen carts and dispose of trash appropriately.
- Remove spots, insects, debris; polish fixtures and clean ashtrays.
- Deliver requested items to guest rooms and assist in room cleaning when necessary.
- Work varied shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support hotel operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- At minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least one year of experience in a housekeeping-related position is preferred.

- A cooperative and team-oriented mindset.

- Understanding of cleanliness standards in hospitality settings.
Additional Information
