Casting Professional

Job Overview

We seek a seasoned casting professional with extensive experience in the casting industry to facilitate entry into scripted and unscripted entertainment sectors including reality shows, web series, OTT/streaming platforms, films, and brand-sponsored productions. This role serves as the vital link between the company and various casting directors, production companies, and OTT platform teams, focusing on identifying and securing appropriate casting opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture connections with casting directors, production houses, OTT platforms, and talent agencies across film, television, streaming, and reality genres.
• Monitor and keep abreast of upcoming casting calls, auditions, and pertinent opportunities.
• Evaluate and align talent profiles, personalities, and career objectives with suitable roles.
• Develop and present profiles, showreels, and portfolios to casting teams.
• Organize and coordinate auditions, including self-tapes and screen tests.
• Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms collaboratively with internal management.
• Advise talent on audition preparation, camera presence, and industry standards.
• Track industry trends, new shows, platforms, and casting requirements to proactively propose casting prospects.
• Maintain and update a pipeline or tracker of submissions, callbacks, and results.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in casting or related entertainment positions.
• Well-established network comprising casting directors, production companies, and OTT platform contacts.
• Strong skills in negotiation and an understanding of contract terms.
• Excellent ability in managing relationships and pitching effectively.
• Highly organized with capacity to manage multiple talents and casting opportunities concurrently.
• Pre-existing contacts with casting teams within reality TV and streaming platforms.
