About the Role and Company

We are currently seeking an Electronic Payment Assistant to join our Revenue Operations and Payment Team located in Kingston. This role focuses on accurately and promptly updating policies credited to individual bank accounts via RTGS, ensuring client satisfaction and supporting departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirm and update client policies with electronic payments received for Sagicor Jamaica and Sagicor Cayman.
- Daily review and update of electronic spreadsheets reflecting payments received.
- Detect and resolve discrepancies in policy credits.
- Communicate with clients or companies to clarify payment details listed in electronic records.
- Recommend reinstatement of policies without forms, following company guidelines after full premium payments.
- Maintain daily electronic spreadsheets with batch numbers, policy numbers or company names, user IDs, and dates.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of six CXC General Proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
- LOMA Part 1 and 2 or similar industry certification considered an advantage.
- At least two years of work experience, including one year in a life insurance operations role.
- Proficient with computer software including spreadsheets and word processing.
- Strong interpersonal and time management abilities.
- Customer service focus.
- Familiarity with insurance policies and operational processes.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
