Job Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans either manually or using dishwashing machines.
• Organize and store sanitized dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in their respective places.
• Keep kitchen workstations, tools, and utensils tidy and sanitary at all times.
• Sweep and mop floors regularly, dispose of trash properly, and uphold kitchen cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collect and sort waste and transport it to designated disposal points.
• Ensure adherence to sanitation protocols and food safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
• Support with receiving and putting away deliveries as needed.
• Carry out additional kitchen duties assigned by supervisors or culinary staff.

Required Experience and Skills

• No mandatory education credentials; completion of high school or equivalent may be preferred.
• Previous experience in a dishwasher role or similar environment is considered advantageous.
• Capability to handle the fast-paced demands of a busy kitchen setting.
• Keen attention to detail along with strong dedication to hygiene and cleanliness.
• Physical endurance to stand for long periods and manage heavy kitchen trays or dish racks.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and food safety practices.
• Ability to collaborate well in a team and communicate effectively.
