Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative position in Australia involves constructing an effective outbound sales approach while collaborating closely with Account Executives. This role goes beyond selling products; it builds partnerships with enterprises to create novel experiences and revenue streams through advanced voice technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential prospects within targeted markets.
- Engage in outbound outreach such as cold calls, emails, and social media to initiate contact.
- Create personalized campaigns aimed at maximizing lead conversion rates.
- Partner with Account Executives to share insights on prospect feedback, objections, and market dynamics.
- Iterate and fine-tune outreach strategies based on ongoing feedback.
- Track and report key performance metrics including conversion rates, lead quality, and outreach efficiency.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to analyze data and improve approach effectiveness.
Candidate Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of outbound B2B sales experience with proven success in booking new business meetings.
- Proficiency in building large opportunity-based lead lists in new market segments and categories.
- Experience leveraging a full range of prospecting tools.
- Demonstrated capability to develop scalable sales processes.
- Proven ability to mentor and nurture team members.
- Strong curiosity, capable of asking insightful questions and devising solutions grounded in knowledge.
- Self-driven, able to excel both independently and as a team player.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to manage a high volume of leads and prioritize effectively.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
