Pricing Executive

About the Role

Fretlog, part of Arkas Logistics and a subsidiary of the prominent Arkas Holding, is seeking an experienced Pricing Executive to join our Pune team. Our company leverages over 100 years of transport expertise across sea, air, land, and rail to provide comprehensive logistics solutions including bulk cargo, project forwarding, and warehousing.

This role involves managing pricing activities related to freight forwarding, maintaining strong partnerships, and supporting strategic pricing decisions to optimize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise regularly with shipping lines, airlines, vendors, service providers, and overseas agents to gather and update pricing data.
• Generate and distribute rate quotations in response to client inquiries and requested proposals.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support price and margin negotiations ensuring profitability.
• Communicate approved rates promptly to both internal stakeholders and clients.
• Keep pricing reports and all associated documentation accurate and up to date.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing costs and increasing business margins.

Required Qualifications

• At least two years of professional experience in freight forwarding pricing operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated accountability and commitment to delivering excellence.
• Upholds high standards of integrity, transparency, and honesty in all dealings.
• Strong creative problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills enabling effective interaction at all organizational levels.
• Preferably maintains an active portfolio of clients and strong commercial relations with shipping lines and key logistics partners.
