Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior .Net Engineer to join our Customer Order Platform team where you will play a crucial role in refining the order system to ensure an uninterrupted ordering process. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing scalable and robust backend software that elevates the global customer experience.

Work Location and Reporting

This position follows a hybrid model with three days a week in our London office and two days remote work. You will report directly to the Technology Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor your progress towards team goals and communicate updates transparently to your team and manager.
• Adhere strictly to the team’s agreed processes, standards, and design protocols.
• Develop new functionalities while maintaining high-quality code and continuously enhancing overall code quality through pair programming, peer review, and sharing knowledge.
• Take accountability for your code by supporting it through production deployment and ensuring consistent performance post-launch.

Required Qualifications

• Proficient experience with .NET framework and C# programming language.
• Strong understanding of HTTP protocols and RESTful API design.
• Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solid knowledge of software engineering fundamentals including data structures, design patterns, microservices, event-driven architecture, object-oriented design, and code optimization techniques.
• Expertise in using Git for version control.
• DevOps competence with practical exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively to solve complex issues.
• Eagerness to learn, develop professionally, and contribute to the company’s vision and product development.
