Purchasing Coordinator - Railway Projects

Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and technically skilled Diploma or B.Tech holders from ECE, EE, or ECI disciplines to join our Railway Projects team as Purchasing Coordinators. Both freshers and experienced individuals with strong communication abilities and technical acumen are welcome to apply.

Primary Responsibilities

• Engage with current and potential clients to understand and gather project requirements related to Railway Projects.
• Develop and deliver accurate quotations based on technical and commercial information.
• Coordinate internally across technical, purchasing, and commercial departments to ensure accurate pricing and specifications.
• Review and process customer purchase orders and related documents meticulously.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and client communications.
• Collaborate with project teams and suppliers to support and fulfill Railway Project requirements.
• Track and report on enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and project status regularly.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in ECE, EE, or ECI preferred.
• Effective communication and client management skills.
• Fundamental understanding of Electrical and Electronics systems and ability to interpret technical specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, and email communications.
• Competency in preparing quotations and related commercial documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate follow-ups and maintain documentation.
• Motivation to learn about Railway products and project specifics.

• Candidates with interests in Railway Projects, client coordination, quotations and purchase orders, electrical/electronic products, and industrial/railway sectors are highly desirable.
