Technical Lead - Guidewire Digital Implementation

EY invites experienced professionals to join our globally connected team that is creating innovative solutions to build a better working world. We are looking for a Technical Lead to oversee Guidewire implementation projects, including Portal and EDGE platforms for customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead various technical streams within Guidewire implementation projects, serving as the team's technical leader.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with onsite coordinators and customer representatives when required.
• Plan and oversee project deliverables, ensuring timely and quality outcomes.
• Mentor and support project team members to successfully execute assigned projects.
• Provide regular status updates to managers and onsite coordinators.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support project requirements.
• Manage client expectations and deliver high-quality solutions under demanding circumstances.
• Foster a quality-driven team culture and manage performance of direct reports aligning with organizational policies.
• Promote teamwork and lead by example within the team.
• Conduct training and mentoring sessions to develop project resources.
• Engage in broader organizational people initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech), MCA, or equivalent.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in insurance domain.
• Strong expertise with Java 8+, JSON, REST APIs, ReactJS or AngularJS, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, Websphere, or Weblogic.
• Solid understanding of enterprise system integration and software development best practices.
• Proven leadership capabilities and excellent business communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire Portals and familiarity with Property & Casualty insurance domain.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Guidewire Policy Center configuration, integration, and conversion processes.
• Knowledge of Core Java programming and Gosu language.
• Proficiency with REST APIs and modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS/AngularJS).
• Client-facing experience and ability to manage relationships effectively.
• Familiarity with Git version control system, Guidewire certification, and Template Design Patterns is advantageous.
