Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Python Engineer for a remote, full-time position supporting a foundational large language model (LLM) company. The primary purpose of this role is to enhance the performance and accuracy of LLMs by providing high-quality proprietary data for fine-tuning and benchmarking their capabilities.
Main Duties
- Develop, design, and maintain efficient Python codebases for training and optimizing artificial intelligence models.
- Perform evaluations and benchmarking to measure and improve model performance continuously.
- Assess and rank AI model responses to user questions across various domains to ensure they meet set standards.
- Lead supervised fine-tuning initiatives, including generating and maintaining high-standard, task-oriented datasets.
- Work collaboratively with researchers and annotators to implement reinforcement learning guided by human feedback and improve reward models.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in Python programming and relevant AI/machine learning libraries and frameworks.
- Experience in supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF).
- Deep understanding of evaluation methods and benchmarking for AI models.
- Skilled in coding for data generation and model optimization using Python.
- Knowledge of AI response evaluation techniques and ranking strategies.
