Role Overview

This full-time Machine Operator position, based on-site at the Sharjah plant, requires operating and monitoring cement manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and smooth production processes. Daily responsibilities include machine setup, conducting routine inspections, adjusting parameters as needed, and promptly communicating any faults or irregularities to supervisors. The role also involves performing basic maintenance with hand tools, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring quality standards are met. The operator is responsible for maintaining production logs, collaborating with team members, and contributing to ongoing process improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Proven skills in machine operation with experience in handling industrial machinery within manufacturing or processing environments.
• Competence in quality control practices, including monitoring product specifications and executing established inspection and reporting procedures.
• Ability to safely utilize hand tools for routine maintenance, adjustments, and equipment cleaning.
• Effective communication abilities to coordinate with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and peers, ensuring clear and timely issue reporting.
• Technical or vocational training relevant to mechanical, electrical, or industrial operations is advantageous, along with knowledge of safety standards, personal protective equipment, and troubleshooting basics.
• Experience in cement production, heavy industries, or construction materials is preferred.
• Capacity to work in shifts, stand for prolonged durations, and reliably follow both written and oral instructions.
