This role involves managing every stage from initial concept to final post-event analysis while collaborating with marketing, ticketing, production, technical teams, sponsors, venues, and government bodies to ensure world-class event execution on schedule and within budget.

Key Duties

  • Maintain event timelines, create run sheets, and produce comprehensive post-event reports.
  • Coordinate with marketing, creative approvals, and ticketing stakeholders on pricing, seating arrangements, and sales monitoring.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, sponsors, venues, and government representatives.
  • Manage budgets by tracking expenses, reconciling costs, obtaining vendor quotes, and handling purchase orders.
  • Support production and technical teams with aspects like stage design, branding, activations, sound, lighting, rigging, and video setups.
  • Supervise venue preparation, food and beverage operations, and ensure a high-quality guest experience during event days.
  • Guarantee compliance with regional regulations by securing permits, licenses, insurance, and health & safety/risk plans.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Have 5 to 7+ years of experience managing major events (concerts, festivals, exhibitions, sports, or live theatrical shows) within the GCC region.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in stakeholder engagement, budget management, and vendor coordination.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and campaign analytics is beneficial.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are an asset.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during event times and willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Must possess or quickly obtain a valid Qatar work visa/QID, a personal vehicle, and a driving license.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Monthly remuneration of QAR 33,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Daily per diem provided during on-site event work or travel.
  • Transportation arranged during event operations at the venue.
  • Rest days granted in compliance with Qatar labour laws, including additional leave following major event projects.
