Qualified Pharmacy Checking Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Pharmacy Checking Technician to join our team at the 528 branch located at 5 Bridge End, Chester Le Street, DH3 3RE. This is a 40-hour per week, permanent position, involving dispensing and checking prescription items with precision and efficiency while upholding excellent customer care standards.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:00 with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break each day

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform dispensing and accuracy checking of prescriptions promptly and correctly
• Maintain the branch's high standards of customer service and care
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing expert advice and product knowledge
• Motivate and coach colleagues in delivering outstanding service
• Operate effectively under pressure while meeting tight deadlines

Requirements

• Completion of the Accuracy Checking Course (ACT Qualification)
• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Strong people skills and enthusiasm for the pharmacy profession
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work methodically
