Facility Technician

Job Overview

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company is looking for a reliable and proactive Facility Technician to join their Facility & Administration Department at Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia. Reporting directly to the Facility Supervisor, the technician will be responsible for executing and monitoring daily maintenance activities, overseeing building systems, coordinating contractor services, and ensuring all maintenance tasks meet safety and company standards.

Primary Duties

• Perform and follow up on routine facility maintenance tasks.
• Regularly inspect building systems and promptly report abnormalities or faults.
• Manage maintenance requests to guarantee their timely completion.
• Liaise with maintenance contractors to coordinate corrective and preventative maintenance activities.
• Keep track of essential infrastructure including background services, sewage, and drainage systems.
• Conduct systematic inspections of buildings, utilities, and service zones.
• Ensure maintenance work meets safety regulations and company policies.
• Report maintenance issues, delays, and contractor performance metrics to management.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for maintenance records, inspection reports, and service follow-ups.
• Assist with emergency maintenance as the situation demands.
• Collaborate with internal departments on maintenance needs and site-related concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in maintenance work areas after job completion.
• Directly supervise contractor maintenance activities daily.
• Assess contractor work quality and escalate incomplete or substandard tasks.
• Prioritize maintenance requests according to operational urgency.
• Escalate critical maintenance faults and service interruptions promptly to management.
• Request remedial actions from contractors if quality standards are not met.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are tracked and finalized on schedule.
• Monitor ongoing facility services to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure quality service delivery.
• Maintain proper oversight of sewage, drainage, and related facility systems.
• Adhere to corporate policies and EHSS safety standards consistently.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or diploma in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of two years' practical experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Sound understanding of building maintenance systems, sewage, drainage, and facility services.
• Proven experience handling maintenance requests and supervising contractor work.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Skill in preparing straightforward reports and maintaining detailed records.
• Familiarity with EHSS standards and safe work protocols.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Willingness to work shifts and respond effectively to emergency situations.
