Facility Operator

Role Overview

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company is inviting applications for the position of Facility Operator within their Facility & Administration Department based in Ras Al Khair, Eastern Saudi Arabia. This role reports directly to the Facility Supervisor and is fundamental in ensuring uninterrupted operation and monitoring of essential building systems such as electrical, HVAC, water, and sewage systems.

Key Duties

• Operate and continuously monitor daily functioning of electrical, HVAC, water, and sewage systems.
• Perform daily inspections of buildings and service areas for any irregularities.
• Maintain accurate daily logs including electricity consumption, water usage, and system status.
• Identify and promptly report any abnormalities or faults within facility systems.
• Coordinate maintenance requests with the appropriate teams or contractors and ensure follow-through until completion.
• Oversee contractor activities during on-site maintenance to ensure work quality and safety.
• Manage emergency responses for issues such as power outages, leakages, and system breakdowns.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in designated work areas.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) policies.
• Have the authority to halt unsafe operations and escalate urgent matters to management promptly.
• Ensure ongoing operational reliability of facility services and produce timely reports for management review.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Possess a High School Diploma or a Diploma in a relevant field.
• Experience: At least 2 years in facility services or a comparable position.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of facility system operations and maintenance practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and capable of preparing straightforward reports and maintaining detailed records.
• Awareness of safety protocols and compliance with EHSS standards.
• Behavioral Traits: Strong observational skills, effective follow-up capabilities, and basic communication proficiency in both English and Arabic.
• Willingness to work in shifts and be responsive during emergencies.
