Position Overview

We are seeking a Radar Developer to join the Pricing Implementation team, a critical group that ensures strategic pricing decisions are accurately translated into operational applications. This role involves implementing pricing structures and models, maintaining system documentation, and improving pricing accuracy within our rating systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement pricing structures and models using Radar software.
• Guide approaches for pricing builds and implementations.
• Create, update, and review XML outputs within rating models.
• Perform thorough testing prior to deployment of pricing changes.
• Detect conflicts in pricing structures that could hinder implementation.
• Stay informed about practical impacts of pricing adjustments.
• Recommend enhancements to pricing structures for improved efficiency.
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure high accuracy in team members' work.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails for all pricing changes deployed live.
• Manage implementation schedules based on priority criteria.
• Collaborate closely with team members to refine and enhance systems.

Candidate Profile

• Proficient user of Radar and Radar Live platforms.
• Experience in the insurance industry is essential.
• Able to interpret and manage complex rating structures.
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
• Skillful in juggling multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical topics to non-experts.
• Analytical mindset for problem-solving and devising structured solutions.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time role with standard working hours of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, based in Liverpool city centre with hybrid working flexibility.
