Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with between 3 to 6 years of professional experience to join our dynamic engineering team. The candidate should excel in managing cloud infrastructures, continuous integration and deployment pipelines, container technologies, automation tools, and monitoring systems. The responsibilities include creating and sustaining scalable, secure, and reliable deployment environments while collaborating closely with development and engineering groups.

Core Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines enabling automated builds, testing, and deployments.
- Manage containerized applications leveraging Docker and Kubernetes platforms.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration through Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Ensure cloud resource management that prioritizes security, scalability, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to track application and infrastructure performance.
- Diagnose and resolve production infrastructure issues, implementing sustainable fixes.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to enhance deployment processes and overall platform reliability.
- Embed DevOps and DevSecOps best practices within the software delivery lifecycle.
- Oversee access controls, secret management, certificates, and other cloud security components.
- Streamline deployment workflows and automate recurring operational tasks.
- Document technical details and standard operating procedures thoroughly.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3–6 years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Proficiency with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong expertise in container technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with popular CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalents.
- Solid command of Linux-based environments and shell scripting.
- Competence with Git version control and branching workflows.
- Understanding of cloud networking, security mechanisms, and access management frameworks.
- Experience in monitoring and logging tools setup and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC.
- Skills in configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience using observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Experience applying DevSecOps principles and enforcing cloud security best practices.
- A solid understanding of microservices architectures and distributed systems.
- Familiar with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience handling production-scale cloud infrastructures.
