Job description

Role overview

This position is based at the Perth office in Australia and reports to the Project Services Lead. The Technology Advisor will take a practical role in delivering technology outcomes by designing, setting up, and supporting enterprise software that addresses complex business needs. You will partner with clients to understand their goals and convert those requirements into effective solutions using Acquire’s software suite.

What the role requires

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical, consulting, or customer-facing environment
  • A formal background in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, Business Analysis, or an equivalent mix of education, training, and experience
  • Proven ability in enterprise software rollout, data-led analysis, or business process work
  • Experience creating and delivering structured training, technical presentations, and user support in both virtual and in-person settings
  • Exposure to relational database environments, especially SQL Server RDBMS, is strongly preferred
  • Well-developed problem-solving ability with confidence to diagnose and resolve technical and business issues independently
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to explain technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to changing schedules as business needs require
  • Readiness to complete extensive internal training

What you will do

  • Serve as the initial contact for technical support, resolving issues directly or escalating them to protect customer satisfaction
  • Set up and deploy technology solutions so they match client processes and business requirements
  • Deliver structured training and learning programs both online and face to face to strengthen customer capability
  • Lead implementation projects and track delivery milestones, outputs, and client approvals
  • Build deep knowledge of Acquire’s internally developed products, including GIM Suite, along with new releases and features
  • Support product enhancement by sharing customer feedback, technical observations, and practical knowledge with internal teams
