Role Overview
The Supply Planner will support the Planning team for business operations in the United States and Canada. This role is centered on managing supply plans for both imported and domestically sourced products within an assigned business segment, using SAP or other ERP tools. The position works in close coordination with demand forecasting, sales, marketing, finance, and manufacturing partners to keep production aligned with requirements and products available for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Track actual consumption against forecasts and maintain the right service levels while staying within inventory targets.
- Work with Sales and Marketing on the introduction of new products and on changes to the existing portfolio.
- Update supply plans as business needs and production demands shift.
- Contribute to Sales & Operations Planning by sharing supply inputs and collaborating with cross-functional partners on operational and inventory plans.
- Coordinate with international manufacturing sites and local third-party suppliers to replenish everyday items and support new product launches.
- Develop effective working relationships across Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth execution and communication.
- Spot supply-related risks and propose practical solutions that reduce disruption and strengthen service performance.
- Take part in continuous improvement efforts focused on planning processes, inventory control, and overall supply chain performance.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in supply chain planning, inventory and replenishment processes, and cross-functional coordination. Strong analytical thinking, sound business judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment are essential.
Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. The preferred background includes 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, materials management, inventory management, demand planning, distribution, or a similar area. Exposure to SAP or another ERP platform is preferred.
