Role Overview
The Studio Manager is responsible for running the studio day to day, growing client sales, and delivering a high standard of service. This role also involves guiding a team of fitness professionals, overseeing budgets, and putting plans in place to support business goals.
Operations
- Oversee studio functioning with attention to cleanliness, upkeep, and overall safety.
- Direct and support staff by offering regular guidance and constructive feedback.
- Track client comments and handle concerns promptly.
Sales and Marketing
- Support client acquisition and work toward monthly sales targets.
- Create retention-focused strategies to keep members engaged.
- Plan and execute marketing activities for the studio.
- Develop connections with corporate partners and local community groups.
Financial Management
- Handle budgets, keep costs under control, and improve revenue performance.
- Review sales and membership information to guide decisions.
Leadership
- Lead, encourage, and coordinate private trainers, group fitness instructors, and sales team members.
- Hire, train, and build up staff to meet business targets.
- Promote a welcoming and inclusive studio environment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in hospitality, a Pilates studio, or a similar environment.
- Strong abilities in leadership, communication, and working with people.
- Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing.
