Job description
Job Summary
We are looking for a Server Administrator who can oversee, secure, and fine-tune server environments so enterprise digital services remain dependable, available, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and support Windows and Linux servers throughout their lifecycle.
- Track server uptime, performance, and overall system condition.
- Oversee backup processes, disaster recovery readiness, and continuity planning.
- Apply security measures, patching routines, and access-control practices.
- Administer virtualized environments and storage platforms.
- Provide support for both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and close infrastructure incidents and service interruptions.
- Keep infrastructure records, operating guides, and documentation up to date.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments.
- Working knowledge of Linux server administration.
- Understanding of Active Directory and identity management.
- Exposure to VMware, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization tools.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery methods.
- Ability to monitor servers and improve performance.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of infrastructure security and hardening techniques.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in server administration.
