Role Overview

The Richmond, Virginia office is hiring a Recruiting Coordinator to support hiring operations and candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage interview scheduling across several calendars and multiple hiring managers.
  • Review resumes and applications as part of the screening process.
  • Act as the main contact for candidates by answering questions, sharing updates, and helping ensure a positive experience.
  • Represent the company at the phone, in hiring events, and in other candidate-facing interactions.
  • Support hiring managers with requisition postings, pay range decisions, and candidate dispositioning.
  • Coordinate onboarding tasks such as orientation, paperwork, and I-9 completion.
  • Respond to employee questions and concerns, guide policy-related matters, and help maintain a constructive workplace culture.
  • Help ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Collect recruiting metrics, prepare reports, and study trends to support management decisions.
  • Contribute to process improvements and other assigned projects.

Requirements

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience as a recruiting coordinator or in a similar hiring-related role.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience delivering strong candidate or customer service.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
  • Comfort using HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage confidential information carefully and professionally.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and adaptability in a busy environment.
