Role Overview

This position focuses on coordinating quality assurance and quality control activities at the project site. The role acts as a central point of contact between site engineering teams, QA/QC personnel, contractors, and client representatives to help ensure that construction and installation work meets approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

Quality Planning and Site Coordination

  • Support the rollout and execution of QA/QC plans, inspection and test plans, and site quality procedures.
  • Serve as the coordination bridge among site engineers, quality teams, contractors, and client-side stakeholders for all quality-related matters.
  • Check that ongoing construction work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.

Inspection and Testing Support

  • Help plan and coordinate inspections for civil, electrical, and mechanical activities, based on project requirements.
  • Review the quality of installations for AC/DC electrical systems, foundations, structures, and other infrastructure elements within scope.
  • Arrange and track testing activities such as insulation resistance tests, continuity checks, earth resistance tests, and material-related tests.

Material Quality Control

  • Coordinate inspection of incoming materials and confirm the availability of test certificates, material test certificates, and other compliance documents.
  • Maintain Material Inspection Reports and ensure materials are stored correctly and can be traced when required.

Documentation and Record Keeping

  • Prepare and update inspection reports, checklists, test records, and quality tracking logs.
  • Assist in compiling quality dossiers, as-built documentation, and handover files.
  • Ensure quality documentation is submitted on time to clients and consultants.

Non-Conformance and Corrective Action

  • Help raise, monitor, and close Non-Conformance Reports.
  • Follow up on corrective and preventive actions until closure is achieved.
  • Maintain registers for NCRs and CAPA activities.

Client and Audit Support

  • Coordinate client inspections, internal audits, and third-party inspections.
  • Support the resolution of audit remarks and compliance-related actions.
  • Take part in quality review discussions with clients and project teams.

Continuous Improvement

  • Assist in spotting quality issues and implementing improvement actions.
  • Support awareness sessions and training efforts related to site quality practices.

Qualification and Experience

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma-level engineering background in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering. Candidates should have 5 to 8 years of experience in QA/QC or quality coordination roles, preferably in EPC, solar, or infrastructure projects.

Key Skills

Applicants should be comfortable with QA/QC documentation, ISO 9001 systems, interpretation of drawings and specifications, testing procedures, and cross-functional coordination.
