About the Internship

This internship involves performing comprehensive manual functional, integration, and regression testing for web applications. You'll be responsible for identifying, documenting, and tracking software bugs using tools like JIRA, ensuring clear reproduction steps are provided.

Key responsibilities also include developing and updating test cases, plans, data sets, and documentation. Collaboration with developers and product teams is essential to grasp feature requirements and guarantee quality standards are met. You will engage in API testing to verify data accuracy and application workflows, support test execution, coverage, and quality metrics, and contribute to basic test automation efforts where applicable.

Eligibility and Additional Requirements

• Applicants must be available to work remotely and able to begin between August 20 and September 24, 2026.
• Commitment to a 6-month internship duration is necessary.
• Relevant skills and interests aligned with the role are required.

• Strong academic foundation in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines is essential.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence/machine learning principles and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Java.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing.
• Knowledge of SQL and databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, particularly for precise and structured defect reporting.

Stipend and Duration

This position offers a monthly stipend of 8000 INR and lasts for six months. Immediate start is preferred.
