Role Overview
This position is with a Kolkata-based cake and pastry brand operating outlets in Salt Lake. The business is recognized for cakes, pastries, and desserts, and has built a strong reputation with a 4.8 customer rating, making it a popular choice for celebrations and online cake orders.
What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for preparing and presenting pastries, cakes, and desserts in line with the brand’s quality expectations. The role also involves maintaining consistency in recipes, controlling portions, managing stock, and keeping the kitchen in a clean and hygienic condition.
Along with day-to-day production, you will contribute ideas for seasonal menu updates, guide junior team members, and ensure that orders are completed on time for both regular and bulk requirements.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a skilled pastry professional with practical experience in cakes, desserts, and bakery production. A strong grasp of recipe creation, presentation, and food hygiene is important, along with a sharp eye for detail and a consistent focus on quality.
Compensation
The offered salary is INR 1,75,000 to 2,50,000 per year.
