About the Role
We are seeking a Motion Graphics Editor intern to enhance long-format videos including documentaries, brand films, YouTube series, explainer videos, and episodic content. This position focuses on maintaining high visual standards, fluid pacing, and consistent storytelling over extended durations, going beyond short-form video editing.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and compile video content exceeding 10 minutes, emphasizing strong narrative structure and flow.
- Create and animate motion graphics such as lower thirds, title sequences, infographics, transitions, and kinetic typography.
- Develop and integrate 3D elements utilizing Blender, including modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and basic rigging/animation when needed.
- Perform color grading and correction to ensure visual consistency throughout the entire timeline.
- Assist with sound design, including mixing and syncing of music, sound effects, and dialogue.
- Work closely with directors, scriptwriters, and producers to visually interpret briefs and enhance storytelling.
- Efficiently handle complex project files, manage version control, and optimize rendering workflows.
- Diagnose and resolve technical challenges related to codecs, frame rates, plugin conflicts, and render failures.
- Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to through consistent use of templates and reusable motion graphics assets.
