About the Role

Shapeways.io is hiring a Mobile App Developer to support its expanding team. The position is centered on creating and improving mobile applications used by learners and partners. The ideal candidate should enjoy solving technical challenges and building apps that are intuitive, reliable, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

Create and support mobile applications for Android and/or iOS.
Convert design concepts into functional app interfaces.
Identify defects, resolve issues, and enhance existing features.
Run tests before deployment to help maintain product quality.
Integrate mobile apps with backend services and APIs.
Refine applications using input from users and internal teams.
Collaborate with the team on planning, updates, and release cycles.

Required Skills and Experience

Hands-on experience developing applications for Android and/or iOS.
Working knowledge of Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, or Swift.
Understanding of API consumption and backend connectivity.
Ability to test software, troubleshoot problems, and improve performance.
Foundational understanding of UI and UX principles.
Comfortable using Git for version control.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
