About the Role

Photech Environmental Services Inc., a wholly owned Triumvirate Environmental company, is hiring a Warehouse Labourer for its Niagara Falls, Ontario site. The organization provides hazardous waste disposal services to industrial, research, and institutional clients throughout Ontario. In this role, chemical waste is sorted, packaged, removed from generator sites, and transported to the Niagara Falls transfer and processing facility.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle incoming trailers by unloading them on arrival.
  • Prepare outbound trailers by loading required supplies and materials.
  • Use forklifts regularly as part of daily operations.
  • Inspect, sort, and place incoming materials into the correct warehouse areas.
  • Run a vacuum tanker when needed.
  • Work with processing equipment such as an industrial shredder, steel drum crusher, and hydraulic drum press used for rags.
  • Support material processing tasks including extinguisher emptying, aerosol consolidation, rag crushing, and shredding.
  • Manage a variety of materials such as bottles, pails, 205 L drums, and 1000 L totes through loading, stacking, pumping, lifting, and bulk handling using proper procedures and equipment.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized through sweeping, washing, sanitizing, and general upkeep.
  • Wear and use company-provided PPE, including coveralls, a Tyvek apron, CSA-approved safety boots, a hard hat, a full-face respirator, and task-specific gloves.
  • Be available for occasional weekend overtime during the April to October season, either in the production area or in the field on mobile household hazardous waste collection crews.

What You Need

  • Willingness to build working knowledge of WHMIS, Triumvirate health and safety practices, and TDG requirements.
  • Ability to learn and follow basic daily work procedures.
  • Comfort working in a warehouse and handling heavy materials and equipment.

Schedule and Pay

This is a Monday to Friday role from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with occasional overtime. The pay rate starts at $22.00 per hour.
