Front End Developer

Role overview

capSpire is looking for an experienced Front End Developer – Senior Consultant to join its technology team in India. The position focuses on building modern, scalable, and fast web applications for enterprise customers in the energy and commodities space.

You will partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, back-end engineers, and clients to create smooth user experiences and address complex business needs. The ideal candidate brings strong front-end development depth, a consulting-oriented approach, strong analytical thinking, and comfort working in high-speed Agile delivery settings.

Key responsibilities

• Work with clients and internal teams to understand business needs and turn them into practical UI solutions.
• Build responsive, high-performance enterprise web applications using React.js, Angular, and related modern frameworks.
• Create reusable, well-structured front-end components with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Connect user interfaces to REST and GraphQL services.
• Coordinate with back-end teams to ensure smooth integration and strong application performance.
• Take part in technical architecture discussions and promote UI engineering best practices.
• Improve applications for scalability, speed, accessibility, and cross-browser support.
• Support data-driven applications, including work with relational databases when needed.
• Participate in code reviews, uphold coding standards, and guide junior developers where applicable.
• Contribute to CI/CD efforts and assist with deployments in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
• Operate within Agile/Scrum teams, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Investigate production issues and help resolve them quickly with cross-functional teams.
• Document technical solutions and maintain clear project documentation.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of practical front-end development experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of React.js, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience connecting front-end applications to REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Good understanding of UI design principles, performance tuning, and accessibility practices.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
• Solid grasp of data handling and SQL, with exposure to PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar databases.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with close attention to detail.
• Preferred: familiarity with Azure or AWS.
• Preferred: exposure to commodity trading, risk management, or other data-intensive applications.
