Job description
About Kerry
Kerry is focused on solving a major global challenge: providing sustainable nutrition to more than 2 billion people while also protecting the environment. The company is looking for early-career talent with fresh ideas, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset to help drive meaningful change.
Program Overview
This is a permanent, full-time position that starts with a structured 2-year development programme. From the outset, you will work on practical business challenges, learn through a global mentor network, and build capabilities through structured learning and cross-functional exposure. The programme is designed to develop the confidence, experience, and skills needed for a long-term career in manufacturing.
About the Role
The Manufacturing Program gives you exposure to Kerry’s global manufacturing network, which spans more than 150 sites. The role is designed to build a strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing, along with skills in leadership, continuous improvement, project delivery, and people management.
You will work with manufacturing specialists and collaborate across functions to better understand the business, including its products, customers, performance indicators, process capabilities, and key commercial drivers. The role also offers experience in world-class manufacturing facilities with a broad range of processing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Help translate site strategy into day-to-day execution by supporting performance measures, team activities, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Contribute to the rollout and adoption of the Kerry Manufacturing Standard to improve consistency and quality across teams and processes.
- Grow into a people leadership role by supervising small teams, running shift huddles, and taking part in performance discussions.
- Support and lead projects such as equipment installations, production line upgrades, waste reduction, and throughput improvement, using solid project management methods.
- Work with management on major transformation initiatives, including digital adoption, automation, and sustainability-related improvements.
- Build awareness of how manufacturing supports Kerry’s sustainability priorities, including lower energy use, smarter water consumption, and less food waste.
Qualifications and Skills
- A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, Business and Management, Supply Chain, or a similar relevant field is required.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience is expected.
- The ideal candidate is ambitious, curious, and eager to apply their abilities in a practical setting.
- A flexible, open-minded, and adaptable approach is important.
- This opportunity is aimed at early-career professionals.
- Fluency in English and the local language is required.
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work permanently in the location where they apply.
- Willingness to travel and relocate is required.
Additional Information
This program is scheduled to begin on 1 September 2026.
