Role summary

This position focuses on reviewing grievance and appeals documents, sorting them correctly, checking member details in different systems, and preparing records for the next stage of processing. Accuracy, confidentiality, and process adherence are central to the job.

Key responsibilities

  • Examine incoming grievance and appeal files to confirm they are complete and relevant.
  • Determine and apply the correct Line of Business using provided definitions.
  • Sort dispute categories according to client-specific instructions.
  • Use multiple client platforms to confirm and validate member information.
  • Standardize and ready documents for downstream workflow while following required procedures.

Requirements

  • Availability to work scheduled shifts from Monday through Friday.
  • At least a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience with Facets is an advantage.
  • Comfort working under HIPAA, data privacy, and security rules.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail to meet productivity expectations.

Preferred background

  • Previous experience in healthcare-based data entry or administrative work.
  • Exposure to client processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to spot inconsistencies and raise issues when needed.
