Role overview

Flogas Britain is hiring a Data Analyst to join a collaborative, fast-moving team focused on producing high-quality business information and intelligence. The role works closely with Finance Business Partners and supports the wider organisation with insight that improves efficiency, margins, profitability, service quality, and productivity.

This position also plays a part in modernising reporting by standardising and automating current processes, with new technology and AI-based approaches encouraged. Flogas is also investing in a long-term transition toward renewable energy, creating room to contribute to new initiatives and future-focused work.

Key duties

• Analyse business performance so the company can better measure service quality, productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
• Help redesign reporting so it becomes more consistent, efficient, and automated.
• Own and maintain several recurring reports, while also drawing useful insights from the data behind them.
• Work with internal stakeholders and deliver accurate, timely financial analysis when needed.
• Produce analysis that supports stronger profitability across priority segments and the business overall.
• Continuously look for better reporting methods, including the use of newer technologies and AI.

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate is self-driven, works well in a team, and can handle multiple priorities in a deadline-focused environment. Strong Excel skills are essential, and experience with BI tools such as Qlik is preferred. The role also calls for someone who communicates clearly at all levels, manages time well, and is motivated to innovate, automate, and improve processes. A genuine interest in AI and automation is important.
