Job description
Overview
We are recruiting for a Data Analyst role with a Haystack partner in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity focused on using data to support mission-critical work within the Navy and Department of War acquisition programs.
What you’ll do
- Analyze datasets to surface practical insights and patterns.
- Convert large and complex data sources into clear, usable information.
- Partner with clients to understand their goals and assess data-heavy environments.
- Provide guidance on what the data means and how it may affect DoW acquisition programs.
- Use analytical findings to inform major business and process decisions.
- Contribute to work that uses data for impact and public good.
Experience and technical background
- At least 4 years of experience working with DoW clients, including NAV WAR.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Tableau experience.
- At least 2 years using programming tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data engineering with Databricks or Spark.
- Practical experience with Power Apps (Canvas Apps) and Power Automate.
- Secret clearance is required.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
