Job description
Overview
Element Materials Technology is seeking a driver to support its team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role is intended for candidates holding a valid UAE licence in category 5 or 6, with a background in construction material testing being a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Support or carry out soil, concrete, and aggregate testing activities.
- Help with density testing procedures.
- Collect concrete samples for compression and flexural testing.
- Support or perform slump tests.
- Assist with asphalt testing where possible; prior familiarity is preferred.
- Transport samples and reports between the relevant parties and locations.
Requirements
- Valid UAE driving licence for category 5 or 6.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Previous exposure to construction material testing, ideally with a commercial test house or contractor.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Comfortable working under pressure.
- Good knowledge of UAE roads and routes.
- Proven history of safe driving.

This position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role is contract-based and onsite. The employer is looking for a candidate who can contribute to testing operations in addition to driving duties.
