Anatomic Pathologist (Histopathologist)

Position Overview

The Anatomic Pathologist (Histopathologist) will be responsible for delivering end-to-end diagnostic pathology support in a hospital setting. The role focuses on precise histopathological assessment, laboratory collaboration, and dependable patient-care support that helps guide clinical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine surgical samples and biopsy material under histopathology.
• Prepare clear and reliable diagnostic reports that align with clinical and laboratory protocols.
• Take part in multidisciplinary case discussions to aid diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Work in line with laboratory quality assurance, accreditation, and patient safety requirements.
• Keep pathology documentation and clinical records accurate and up to date.
• Support Blood Bank activities and broader laboratory work according to granted clinical privileges.
• Provide evidence-based diagnostic pathology services in a professional healthcare environment.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should hold MBBS/MD along with a recognised postgraduate qualification in Pathology, or an equivalent recognised credential. Specialisation in Anatomic Pathology / Histopathology is required. The role prefers candidates with 10 to 15 years of post-specialisation experience. Blood Bank experience is mandatory. A UAE License, DHA Eligibility, MOH Evaluation, or SHA Eligibility is needed, or the candidate must be eligible to obtain one. Preference is given to candidates from India, and those who can join immediately.
