About the Company
Swoop was launched by Thiel Fellow Aubrey Niederhoffer and has raised a $7.3 million seed round, described as the largest ever secured by an African consumer startup, to create an African super-app beginning with food delivery. The company is supported by Long Journey, Variant, Version One, Soma Capital, and Dune Ventures, and it is already the biggest food delivery provider in Eswatini while expanding quickly across Africa.
About the Role
The company is seeking creators and brand ambassadors based in Lagos to help build the growth engine for its next major consumer platform in Africa. This is a practical, hands-on founding-style role within a fast-scaling business.
Responsibilities
- Produce 20 pieces of content each month, including talking-to-camera videos, POV clips, skits, day-in-the-life posts, food photography, and unboxing content.
- Convert audience engagement into app installs and first-time orders for Swoop.
Qualifications
- Having at least 500 followers on Instagram or TikTok is preferred, along with prior experience publishing content online.
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication skills for collaborating directly with the Growth team and refining what performs best.
- High ambition and a willingness to help the brand gain momentum quickly.
- Good awareness of online culture and current trends.
