Job description
Role Overview
XPT Software Australia is looking for an AI Developer to join its Sydney-based team. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on building and integrating AI-driven solutions, with an emphasis on orchestration, reusable capabilities, and prompt-driven workflows.
Core Technical Focus
- Hands-on work with MCP and tool integration.
- Designing intelligent agents and the logic that drives them.
- Creating reusable skills or actions that can be applied across workflows.
- Coordinating agent-to-agent (A2A) orchestration.
- Structuring prompts effectively for reliable model behaviour.
- Working with Python and SQL as part of the implementation stack.
Preferred Experience
- Experience using LLM APIs and connecting them with user interfaces is an advantage.
- Exposure to the market risk domain will be considered a strong plus.
Technical Environment
Unix knowledge is part of the expected technical environment for this position.
