About the Internship
Sarvam Foundation invites passionate candidates to join as English Teaching Interns under the Sarvam Shakti program. This initiative empowers underprivileged urban girls by providing creative education including Indian performing arts, yoga, computer skills, and English language proficiency. Interns will mentor students from Grade 3 and above, fostering their communication and language skills through engaging learning experiences.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct interactive English lessons for students Grade 3 and above.
- Enhance students' capabilities in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and spoken communication.
- Design simple educational activities and materials to support learning objectives.
- Track students' progress and offer personalized guidance for improvement.
- Maintain a motivating and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Candidate Eligibility
- Applicants must be women, reflecting the program’s aim to serve girl students who benefit from female educators.
- Must be available for a full-time, onsite internship in Delhi lasting three months.
- Start dates between August 19, 2026, and September 23, 2026.
- Fresh graduates or those restarting their careers are encouraged to apply.
Additional Information and Perks
- Interns will work five days per week, from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
- A monthly stipend between INR 4,000 and INR 5,000 is offered.
- Certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation based on performance will be provided.
