Job description
Role Overview
Join the 24/7 Cargo Operations Center dedicated to live shipment monitoring, especially for high-value and special cargo. This position focuses on ensuring timely, secure delivery on key flight routes by continuously overseeing various dashboards and KPIs aligned with performance standards such as OTP, Cargo IQ, SLAs, and FAP. The role involves proactive recovery and communication regarding shipment irregularities, collaborating with stakeholders throughout the HUB and Network.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial investigation of reported delays or service disruptions, organizing efficient recovery actions independently and assessing financial impacts of recovery choices.
- Represent company values and comply with communication standards towards external and internal customers.
- Make daily operational decisions to manage and mitigate safety and security risks associated with assigned tasks, escalating significant risks appropriately.
- Monitor special loads and products across platforms to ensure processing aligns with SLAs, promptly communicating any gaps or potential delays to relevant parties.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers and internal teams regarding booking changes, address root causes of discrepancies, and promote continuous process improvements.
- Engage stakeholders constructively to resolve issues, minimizing unnecessary costs and delays in cargo delivery.
- Provide real-time attention to shipment irregularities with focus on special products and high-value customers.
- Support Commercial Products and Hub Quality teams by taking ownership of end-to-end shipment monitoring processes.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum education: High school diploma, with preference for diploma in logistics, operations management, or related field.
- At least three years of experience in cargo operations or cargo customer service.
- Strong understanding of computer airfreight specifications and in-depth knowledge of industry standards, legal regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Industry training related to Dangerous Cargo (DC), AVI, Cargo Operations, Security, and Customer Service.
- Fully familiar with cargo handling processes and compliance expectations.
