About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Retail Director to join a prestigious luxury retail group in Tbilisi, Georgia. The company operates the country's leading luxury department store — recognized among the Best Fashion Stores globally — alongside an outlet and a high-end boutique hotel. The client represents a distinguished range of international luxury brands including Alaia, Cartier, Bottega Veneta, The Row, and Saint Laurent. This role offers an opportunity to participate in the company’s dynamic expansion phase by leading operations and delivering exceptional retail experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, recruit, train, and evaluate a diverse team of 25 employees, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Ensure flawless in-store customer experiences by maintaining rigorous adherence to brand standards relating to visual merchandising, operations, and service quality.
- Track key performance indicators and utilize CRM insights to boost client retention and revenue growth.
- Serve as a brand ambassador by expanding the client portfolio and representing the company at prominent events.
- Manage relationships with high-value clients personally, ensuring exceptional service for Very Important Customers (VICs) and VIPs.
- Contribute strategically to marketing initiatives and e-commerce development.
- Supervise daily administrative and back-office functions to ensure smooth operational workflows.
- Analyze business performance data and deliver actionable insights to senior management.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a higher education degree.
- Proven leadership background within luxury retail, specifically in fashion and accessories.
- Experience in mentoring, coaching, and training sizable retail teams effectively.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Strong cultural sensitivity alongside a genuine passion for fashion.
- Technologically adept with the ability to leverage digital tools.
- Customer-centric with a strong commercial acumen.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and presentation capabilities.

This is a permanent, full-time position based onsite in Tbilisi.
