Project Geologist

Role Overview

This position involves collaborating closely with the senior geologist to oversee and coordinate all geological tasks at the project site, ensuring activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and innovatively with timely completion.

Key Duties

• Partner with the technical services team during the exploration drilling phase, which includes technical evaluations of mineral properties, tracking drilling progress, core logging, updating and interpreting drill sections, and enforcing relevant quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) protocols.
• Support the development of comprehensive exploration targets and strategic plans by compiling historical data, managing and analyzing site databases, conducting surface sampling and mapping, and reviewing historical core samples.
• Assist with the technical components of company projects such as QA/QC oversight of exploration activities, planning and supervising exploration programs, resource modeling and engineering, due diligence, data auditing, and conducting economic evaluations.
• Contribute to geological interpretations concerning structural and deposit information through data compilation, integration, and 3D modeling efforts.
• Oversee and maintain standards and procedures related to the generation and analysis of geological data.
• Prepare regular drilling and other technical reports to communicate key project progress updates.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support project goals.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor of Science in Geology.
• A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience is required.
