Job description
Role Overview
This position supports the Field Supervisor by assisting in executing Gold and Minerals exploration projects while adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Key Duties
- Develop and maintain systems to ensure the safe and effective conduct of field operations, including coordination of personnel transport, upkeep of vehicles, and equipment rental management.
- Oversee and manage the fixed asset inventory of Gold and Minerals equipment.
- Supervise daily activities of field support teams, including monitoring overtime and work hours.
- Ensure environmental protection measures are implemented in all operations.
- Manage petty cash related to field activities.
- Implement and enforce Gold and Minerals' safety policies consistently across field operations.
- Prepare weekly logistics reports detailing field operations status.
Candidate Profile
- Possess educational qualifications relevant to the role.
- Have more than 10 years of pertinent experience in the field.
- Demonstrated experience in leading multinational teams.
- Proven ability to manage geophysical ground surveys.
- Experienced in supervising the field operations of Reverse Circulation (RC), Diamond drilling, and trenching programs.
- Holder of a valid full driving license.
- Track record of maintaining high safety and environmental standards.
