Product Owner

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Owner to join a Haystack partner team located in the Greater Koblenz Area. This role entails shaping foundational processes and the related tool ecosystem for the future, impacting organizational culture, cooperation, and efficiency on a wide scale. The ideal candidate will lead product development within a Scrum team by prioritizing internal customer needs, maintaining a transparent backlog, and communicating clear objectives to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Product Owner responsibilities in your Scrum team, making informed decisions to guide product development toward results.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the current tool suite, which includes specific development tools and a modern web application, driving its strategic progress.
• Influence and improve product development processes throughout the group, supporting agile transformation via clearly defined visions and priorities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Product Owner within a Scrum team, demonstrating capability managing complex product environments.
• University degree in IT or Management or an equivalent discipline such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Information Management.
• Strong expertise in agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban, proficient use of development and collaboration tools, and a keen interest in process improvement and change management.
• Excellent command of English and at least good written and verbal skills in German.
• An agile mindset, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and enthusiasm for working collaboratively with international, cross-functional groups.
